Should i cancel my invite to a friend to my baby shower?

i dont want to sound mean.. to make it short.. My boyfriends side of the fam is throwing a baby shower.Which i dont know harly anything about but the time and date and place. I dont know if there going to be enough food, or seats available for enough ppl. So my boyfriend said to invite ppl, so i invited about 5 close friends, and she is one of them. Then i get a call from his grandma saying that she wanted this to be fam thing after i invited few friends. So my fren tells me that she wont be able to buy a gift( which i am so okay with it, because of her situation) i dont care, but then she said shes bringing two other guys with her.. Now, i personally dont care, but 1. I am already nervous about if there going to be enough seats or food available because then again i am not informed about anything. 2. I dont want his part of his fam to make rude remarks..Not in front of her, but behind her back which i know they will..As sad as it sounds i know some would make rude remarks cuz i know how they are..things like "ohh look at this girl, not bringing a gift and bringing two other men with her, whats the point of her coming." and thats going to pissed me off because is about company..I already explain to her if she can make it alone, cuz i dont want his fam to talk crap, since they want fam thing.. i already invited her, but i dont want his fam to make those rude remarks cuz i have a big feeling they are. My side of fam is trowing me one next month, should i just tell her to go to that one instead since muy fam know her alredy..? confused..
